Community Events
Calendar
Time and again, we hear feedback that families love the community feel of HT. How does that happen? We show up. Join us for one or all of the many different events throughout the year that bring us together.

Family Activity Nights
Each season we’ll organize a family activity night that families can opt into if they’re interested - Skate Night in the fall, Bowling in the winter, Mariners game in the Spring - dates will be added on the PTA Calendar. Don’t forget to read your Weekly Orca Spout Out in Parent Square for reminders and details!
Festival of Cultures
Part of building a community where everyone belongs is celebrating all the different cultures that are represented! Early in the year, typically in October, we do just that with an evening event full of great food, nationality booths, and cultural performances. The event is free and open to all HT families.
Family Glow Dance Party
Are you ready for one of the most fun nights of winter?!! DJ, party lights, a disco ball, light-up clothes, and so much neon - the HT Family Dance Party has it all, and we are here for it! Every January we offer a night of family fun with music, dancing, and lots of smiles and laughter. The event is free and open to all HT families. Those winter blues don’t stand a chance after a night like this!
Community Pancake Breakfast
Our school's longest-running tradition, since 1961! Typically in February, this Saturday morning event is an opportunity to join your friends and family for a stack of pancakes with all the fixings. The event is free and open to everyone. After you eat, check out the library to help kick off the annual Book Fair, where a portion of proceeds goes towards building our library’s book collection!
Community Science Night
Join us for a night of all things STEM - Raptors, reptiles, robots, crafts, experiments, a petting zoo, and more! Each May, we put on an all-school evening community event that is designed for the whole family to enjoy. The event is free and open to everyone. We’ll offer an earlier soft opening for our sensory-sensitive students. No need to bring anything other than curiosity and excitement.
